The app consistently sends a reminder at 6 PM the day before collection for trash and recycling, as well as yard waste. The yard waste truck often comes a day early, but they do come again on the day they’re scheduled (I think they’re just trying to get ahead of things when they have the capacity). The app also has a handy search feature to let you see what can be recycled, although sometimes it takes trying a few terms to get the result. The best feature, though, is getting alerts for weeks when pickup days will change because of holidays. Those come several days early and are especially useful because sometimes the pickup day does not change.
