There’s not much to the RPG element in the five or six hours, I’ve played. It serves as a paywall. You cannot defeat the next level without increasing your hero strength. There is no development, it’s totally linear. If you want to check in every day progress would be slow. The rogue light portion is also rather superficial . You can’t really follow a build. It’s simply the RNG of available skill modifiers without any way of making choices that impact how those modern fires perform or whether you see them or not. The actual gameplay, however, is extremely good for a match three game. And without all these other binding attributes could be very fun for hours on end. Combined with the other attributes in the game, it could be immensely fun if you weren’t stuck with energy and the other restrictions previously mentioned.
Most games you see of this particular genre are very similar like archero, calling for many in-game purchases and so on. However, Anipang Matchlike is different by fusing the Roguelike-RPG genre with the Match-3 genre. I’ve played many of these kinds of games and I have to say this one has to be the most fun i’ve had playing. The art is adorable and the gameplay is engaging. You’re not fully dependent on the stats of your gear in order to succeed. With that being said, I highly recommend this game. 💜
If this is what the beginning stages of your game looks like I’m excited to see what else is in store in the near future. 10/10, I’m very impressed by all the work that clearly has been put into this. I will point this out though: 1 . Needs more profile pictures/frames. It’s nice and simple as it is but almost…too simple? 2 . Add a way to connect with friends and connect via social networks, X, Facebook, Instagram, etc so profile pics auto upload. We have Ai now, hire a bot to check for bad photos lol. 3 . Along with #2, having a multiplayer side to it would be cool. Challenge your friends to take turns and first one to a “certain score” wins? With each able to choose their own skills though the game? - add multiplayer rewards/pics/characters for winning X amount of games in a week, etc. tiers maybe? 4 . Custom, earnable backgrounds would be cool. Even if it’s just the Home Screen. Also, a daily prize wheel that isn’t rigged but also gives decent prizes here and there for playing the game? Just a few ideas and thoughts, you guys did really good on this match game - still seeing the boring side of a few things from previous games though…needs to be more social. Great game nonetheless.
