AlphaSense

Literally the worst account setup experience I have ever had, with paid data base. The account manager keep saying you need to check with your IT, while in fact, this is a team level purchase and our corporate IT has NO involvement in it. For enterprise saas and data product, the on boarding experience is truly a disappointment.

First off, great app. Really well done. Being able to read and listen to transcripts in such a clean format on the go is close to a game changer. There are just two main problems. And unfortunately they impact me every time I use the app: * there is no way to copy text (for pasting) from the transcripts. All you can do is share the link. But this is not the main use case. I need to paste direct quotes in my write ups and notes to my team. * when listening to a transcript on a headset (AirPods etc), it’s not set up to utilize hands free skip back and forward (eg by clicking twice or thrice). Apps like audible and Spotify are set up this way. Strongly suggest AlphaSense does the same.

I was introduced to AlphaSense a few months ago. Since then it’s transformed how I find information to be the best at my job. It cuts out all the noise and repetitive information I would usually have to suffer through while helping me search rapidly for exactly what I’m looking for. One of my worries was that the app wasn’t going to translate well from the web-platform. How wrong I was! While many other business apps that I use are severely limited on mobile, AlphaSense is the opposite. I use it to quickly look up a company, set an alert or search for a topic where I need credible information, fast. Highly recommend it to anyone who with in Strategy, Market Research or Corporate Development! It’s a game-changer!
