AlevioOS - Local Ai

I’m traveling a lot and don’t always have access to the internet. With the help of AlevioOS I can access to many local AI models which work perfectly fine.

This is just another generic AI Chatbot. The only “good” thing about it is the fact you can download models to use when offline. This would be useful, if models didn’t use 1GB+ of storage EACH. This is not the developers fault, but just a thing you have to think about during development. This has basically zero use case since AI Chatbots use very little data and I’ve never seen or met anybody with the need to use AI offline. Now to some other key things. The UI is incredibly incoherent. The chat interface looks nice, but only if you stare at it. The moment you type it starts getting unresponsive and just ugly. There’s also no sense of color theory or palettes here. Different shades of gray everywhere, as I said. Not coherent. Also the icons belong to different icon sets, making those incoherent as well. The sidebar is also very lacking. Padding is off in a lot of places and there’s a wild mix of corner roundness everywhere. This app reeks of AI. And if it was not AI, the dev really has to up his design and UX capabilities.

I love this app because it is the only ai app who works without wifi!! I would love to see a memory feature in the Alevio App
