Clan. Easy to use. Wires are seamless. Creating cards, having clear wallets— excellent FX conversion rates - better than PayPal & my banks (Chase and BOA) (at least when I’ve ran multi times) just everything is so smooth. Paying my foreign contractors is brilliantly easy too. A++
I had a very disappointing experience with Airwallex. Their system approved a payment without first checking whether the recipient’s bank could accept it under their regulations. The transaction was later declined by the beneficiary’s bank — something I, as a customer, have no way of knowing or verifying beforehand. Despite this being entirely outside my control, Airwallex still charged me a processing fee. They then conducted a lengthy three-week “investigation” only to inform me that they would not be refunding the fee because it was “incurred at the time the payment was submitted.” This is completely unreasonable. If their system allows a transaction that should have been flagged before submission, the customer should not bear the cost. Other payment providers I’ve used would either block such transactions at the outset or refund fees in these circumstances. I expected better transparency, accountability, and customer care from a financial service provider. Instead, I was left with wasted time, unnecessary costs, and no resolution.
I had high hopes for Airwallex, but my experience has been incredibly disappointing. First, the onboarding process was confusing and took way longer than expected. They kept asking for the same documents over and over, even after I had already submitted everything. Once my account was finally approved, I encountered constant delays in transfers, and some payments were even held without explanation. I tried reaching out to customer service multiple times, but responses were either copy-paste replies or completely unhelpful. It felt like they didn’t care at all about resolving real problems. To make things worse, my account was suddenly restricted without warning, and I still haven’t gotten a clear answer why. This caused major disruptions to my business operations. I wouldn’t recommend Airwallex to anyone relying on timely transactions or needing reliable support. There are better and more trustworthy fintech platforms out there.
