I think I finished the game. I finally got the Gold Compass. After, I had to do some major farming (with a little gem purchase to bypass the final green shaman potion) but major farming for the INSIGNIAโs. Watching a ton of ads to double up on my booty. (I really wish that was a progressive ad where i could double and then maybe do a triple that ad to follow, getting 6 rather than 2.) However, waiting for the survival so I can use my big ship - โThe EverReadyโ- i named it for now, gotta think of a better name- leave a review and tell what to name my ship! - I know what Roger meant when getting stuck on getting the Gold Compass. Just make sure to have enough resources -gold, to buy one of your shipmates- the final battle has at least 50 skeletons, plus the Boss - has a ton of hp and wields that sword pretty quickly. I lost a crew-mate, but was able to buy. Oh, and make sure you have plenty of wood and planks through out the game. I forgot which cree-mate gets more resources out of farming wood and ore, but I found that the Kings Island has a lot of wood and you can bypass the intro when you set sail if press the dock button before it shows your next destination to save you a couple of seconds, before going back onto the island to farm wood again. Also, i think i have completed the game, but going to upgrade all ports and spend several days just farming one resource at a time. 4 days concentrating on wood, another 4 days farming ore, 4-yellow dust, 4-cotton, all the while hitting the numbers game for insignias- the main port on paradise- you can spend 30gems to double your resource (totally helpful) and i need at least 400+ insignias, and over 10,000+ planks. Its great to max out work benches (24hours or close to 720 resources. ;a minute a resource on the benches)). after upgrading everything and spending a month or two farming and upgrading, i hope that the Survival edition will become available. Oh, and finally, I feel like there are more lighthouses across my map. Keep in mind, i think I finished the fame, but there are three of four lighthouses that might be able to clear some fog. I guess i will find out and post here in the rating of the game. Etosty should make more games like this. Itโs a fun great game.
I have been playing this game for quite some time, Iโm not exactly sure, but over a year. I enjoyed the game as it was, but eventually got to a point where I was essentially treading water. There was nothing else to conquer, I could beat any ship very quickly. The only thing I had left to do was to find the spy glass, but I had no idea where it was and could not figure out how to find it. A long comes the recent major upgrade. Wow! You really delivered. While maintaining the same gameplay, and essentially the same goals, new factors were added to the game. Most importantly, the other ships are harder to conquer. So when I come up against a 17 or greater, I have to use some effort. The added trade capability where resources are gathered and then sent to my warehouse is a nice addition. I really enjoyed the unexpected mini quests that I encountered on some of the islands. I donโt want to make this a novel so Iโll just say I am very pleased with the upgrade and Iโm really enjoying it. There are two comments I will add; the cannon on the Forgotten Port island is blocked by the nearby mountain tops. It significantly diminishes that forts ability to help me with the nearby ships. The only other comment is that I see the spy glass has been changed to a compass, but I still canโt find the compass. Thanks so much for the upgrade, I hope soon will be figuring out why we have the ability to add clothing and accessories to the character, but there does not appear to be any clothing or accessories to be found.
First off this game started out ok, had to purchase the no ad option due to them forcing ads on you every 30 secs then they have you do a zillion upgrades to supposedly get the big ship only to find out they never finished creating the game to get the monocular, the game then sit for weeks and weeks with no update. Finally they do an update and it's dumber than ever, all you do is upgrade things over and over and over. These game developers must be low iq and can't actually create a game but instead force ads on you and force you to update the same thing there is no actual game play. Then they get the bright idea to add discord so you can chat with pervs about how you are updating the same items a billion times wasting all your resources on it and all the while still no monocular because they are idiots. Through Apple I got my money back I had spent in this game which was around $75 and wouldn't spend another dime on it. Go to the Apple Store and put in for a refund due to their lazy incompetent ways then delete the waste of game
