I used the app a few times and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately for me, I couldn’t afford to keep up with the subscriptions I had. It surprised me when it came out. I contacted support to cancel and ask for a refund. They got back to me within the hour and were very helpful and nice. When you have a problem with something you want a fast and easy outcome. They definitely do not disappoint, I’m very impressed and if I do get the funds again will be renewing my subscription in the future.
Don’t listen to the ads, there is no “trick to getting him back” or “secret ways to deal with avoidant men” … it’s an app that teaches basic texting tips and gives you an AI friend that helps you process things about your relationship dynamic. It’s mostly an AI supportive friend meant to make you reflect and realize that you’re enough. Response from the app: “My intention isn't to be a "therapy app" in the traditional sense, but more like a supportive friend who helps you navigate these complex feelings and relationship dynamics. The core idea isn't that you're "enough without the avoidant man" in a dismissive way, but rather that *you are enough, period*, and you deserve a relationship where your needs are met with equal enthusiasm and effort.”
I used the Affemity web platform a while back, mainly to figure out why I kept repeating the same patterns in relationships. It helped me see things more clearly — especially around boundaries and emotional triggers. Now that there’s finally an app, I’ve been way more consistent. It’s so much easier to check in. Feels like having a little relationship coach in my pocket, honestly.
