Activations: Daily Motivation

I downloaded Superhuman 1 year ago after hearing Mimi tell the story of how she created it on a podcast. I live in LA and drive a lot so I started listening to the activations in the car. I’ll never forget how about a week in to my free trial, I listened to one on the way to an event - one line from that one stood out to me “I don’t chase, I attract.” I let that line sink in to actually feel it, walked into that event & had never felt more magnetic in my life. Walked out with a new friend, new business contact, and the hottest guy there asking me for my number without my lifting a finger. I knew then that this app was worth the money and became a subscriber. One year later and my life has and continues to elevate in ways I could’ve only dreamt about previously. This is one of my favorite tools to help me keep elevating my life and I cannot recommend it enough. There’s consistently new activations (my latest favorites are the specific targeted money visualizations) and the effort and care that Mimi puts into recording these is so evident. The musical score, the cinematic feel of them - if you want to start feeling and acting like the main character of your life, this is your sign.

I do enjoy the fact that it’s inspirational talk rather than guided meditation but it would be nice if there were recordings w different voices. The creator’s voice is very breathy for my taste. A lot of the content is spoken from the negative which defeats the point of someone trying to be positive if they’re being guided to speak from a negative, using words like don't and stop instead of do and continue. The price is too much. I paid for one year but I’ve had it a month and already used most of the content. I heard they update content monthly but I hope they add more content meant for people in different chapters of their life. Some of the content is useless for me bc as a busy mother, I can’t listen to an app when food shopping bc my goal is to get in and out as quickly as possible. I would also love if there was more asking the user questions about how they see themselves or what they want to inspire us to think on our own instead of hearing affirmations with long gaps of music. They should add health, beauty, losing weight, being a parent, stuff like that. The only health related content I’ve seen was clear skin. As is, I wouldn’t renew but would consider if they made the content more universal. As a woman in her 40s I feel this content would’ve been better for me 10-20 years ago or before I had kids. Thank you.

I have used other apps for meditation, but only on and off, and I didn’t find one I could really stick to because I could only use them when I had a lot of time to sit and find the right recording for the moment. And I rarely had a lot of time to give! I started the free trial of this app and right away knew it made sense to pay for the subscription for a number of reasons! First, the voice and sounds on every recording are very soothing and always encouraging to listen to. Second, the number of options and the way the meditations are organized makes it so easy to not only find the meditation that’s right for you in the moment, but incorporate it into everyday activities seamlessly. I still have a very busy schedule but find that I now have no issues finding time to meditate or mentally check in, because the app allows you to choose if you want to be sitting and start a deep reflection, or if you are running errands, walking, or just want something on in the background. In no time at all, I was able to start using the app every single day!
