AC Fan - ACNH Community

I am new to the animal crossing world, having recently purchased ACNH as my first experience with the series. This app does tons but my two favorite aspects by far: 1) it vastly improves/expands the social aspect of the game. Part of this is because the community is so friendly. I love visiting other islands but don’t have a wide network of IRL friends who play to make frequent visits. You can queue to visit islands for all different types of reasons. This helps you progress more quickly which great but it also lets you interact with many more players 2) it makes it so much easier to track which critters and items you’ve collected, and to browse which ones remain. This does require manually inputting what you’ve collected but it’s not that big of a deal for critters or recipes IMO. I love filtering critters by what I haven’t yet caught and that are currently available. So convenient to have this ability in an app!

This has been a great app and made it very easy to trade with others. I’ve been able to complete almost all diys and other collections. One suggestion I have is that I have had people select the trade is complete when they changed their mind instead of canceling. It would be nice if I could still cancel since that is what actually happened and they wouldn’t get the chance to give a rating. While some people have meant to cancel, others have been malicious in that a different offer was declined by me (I have the right to, it’s my item and if I want to trade a diy for another diy that is my choice). The person made a reasonable offer on another listing I had and when I accepted, immediately completed the offer and gave me 1 star as a “payback” for not accepting their other offer. Let me just start off by saying, I love this app. It’s a bit funny because the only things I had complaints about were fixed in the latest update! I downloaded as many Animal Crossing apps as I could find in the App Store, and this was one of them. I’m really nit-picky when it comes to apps that are supposed to help with something else (ex. apps for games), but this one surprised me. It has a lot of features I wanted all in one app, instead of keeping 6 different apps that I could fit into one; this one! As I downloaded it, it didn’t take long. As it loaded up, it didn’t take long, which is super helpful when you’re in a game that relies on specific times and events like animal crossing does. It isn’t hard to figure out, it’s mostly common sense and poking around to see what’s there. It’s great for island ideas, clothing, and design posts, as well as a cool feature for selling turnips. The trading is my favorite part, though. I can catalog items that would take me months to get in the game, I can get items crafted that I don’t have the diy’s for, and I can purchase items for diy’s I didn’t have, it’s awesome!!! Everyone is super nice and understanding, and we’re all just here to play Animal Crossing, so it’s a lot of fun when we can come together and help each other out. This is coming from someone who has only had the app for 3 days, but I love it so much I had to write about it. Thank you for making an app that actually helps!!! Thank you thank you thank you!
