Me and my family absolutely love this game, we play it every time we go out to eat while we wait for our food to come and sometimes while we eat & use it over at hangouts, i did the free trial and even signed up for a little over a month until it was time to pay bills , $9.99/week is INSANE thats more than any other subscription Iโve ever owned and that says alot . Absolutely amazing game but honestly not $30-$40/month-amazing. If the price was more reasonable maybe $5/week id cave. Until then its back to โHeads Upโ !
Honestly I was not going to rate this game. Like many people I never rate games. It just seems like a minor inconvenience most of the time when the โDO YOU WANNA RATE THIS GATEโ popup appears. However this game caught me off guard because when I said โNoโ to rating the game. The popup puppy that carried the sign in didn't go away. He just got sad and stayed on my screen. So to appease this small digital puppy I clicked him and rated this game 5 stars so he'd be happy.
A weekly 2.99/ subscription just to unlock the same unchanging, never updated content. You should be able to buy add on packs at a one off price- Iโd be happy to support. I respect app developers and content creators and they should be compensated for their work. However, a weekly subscription model in this context is purposely deceptive, and you can tell they hope you download, briefly use the app and then abandon it. All in the hopes of you not noticing the continuing weekly charge and then cancelling. This is against Apples own subscription model guidelines, but both Apple and Daygames donโt care as long as they are making money off of people who donโt know any better. Have some integrity... I knew to cancel but a lot consumers donโt, and thatโs what the creators are banking on. Please everybody save your money and just buy the physical version. A weekly subscription should be for a continued weekly service, not just for access to unchanging content. There is a reason they donโt offer subscription tiers - 2.99 weekly/ 12 monthly / 156 yearly - because consumers would be alerted to the low value for the actual cost. They are taking advantage of a loophole, because legally reprimanding this behavior could potentially damage legitimate weekly subscription apps that deserve to be paid weekly. Again have some integrity...
