Scanning suddenly became slower and I can’t grab everything as smoothly as before before it the scan loses it and forces me to stop.
This app is intuitive to use and produces excellent scans of feet. It does not produce .stl files; that requires MSoft by TechMed on a Windows system, which is a pay-per-use program. But the cost is reasonable. Some companies will accept the 3DSIZEME files, which keeps the scan cost at zero. Of course, the CNC companies build the conversion cost into their product/service. But 3DSIZEME on an iPad with Structure Sensor produces very good scans at a moderate cost. Tech support for MSoft is great; it is doubtful that one will need support for 3DSIZEME, it is very easy to use.
3DSizeMe in conjunction with the structure sensor iPad scanner has been a great tool for efficient, easy to use and accurate scanning and submission for plantar orthoses. The team at TechMed 3D provides excellent support and is open to development suggestions to help your business needs.
