3D Escape Room : Mystic Manor

1. The graphics are amazing. A lot of thought to detail. These graphics raised the bar for me, as the dimensionality is very engaging. 2. The details on the ornate and historical artifacts and symbols are well done. Someone did their research. 3. Some of the puzzles are appropriately challenging, meaning, if I studied them and took some time with them, I could figure them out. Some were easy. Some were hard. 4. Some of the puzzles were either impossible or extremely abstract, so mixed up were the details to put the clues together, that there would be no way to figure them out. Obviously you need to make your money somehow, so good job. I finished the whole game. I spent about $10. It took me about 21 hours plus a lot of help. I took notes to keep track of puzzles for each room. Quite challenging, quite good, frustrating at times because I realized along the way that some puzzles are just too abstract and made up in someone else’s mind to ever find the solution. All in all, how do I rate this game that has some puzzles with no solutions? I understand you need to make money, but make money based on puzzle difficulty, not abstraction or impossibility. I know for a fact that one puzzle was impossible, the Medusa phone in the office, because the number solution has a zero in it, but the clue on the globe had no zero in it. Largely, most of this game was fantastic.

This developer delivers a quality game every time. Their new“3D” games rival the greats: House of Da Vinci, the Room, etc. The games from this developer are better than 95% of ALL iOS games on the Apple market, PAID GAMES INCLUDED; they’re longer than 97% of ALL iOS games AND to top it off, their games are free! To the person upset about hints, if you don’t want to buy them: • the game designer allows you to watch a 30-sec Ad for a free hint; as many times as you want. • Plus, there's this thing called “Google” that's been around for a while now… all you have to do is perform a search and you can find walkthroughs for (almost) EVERY iOS game. My only critic for the Developer: for ppl playing on iPhones: it’s hard to read the pages in the book & hints on items — if you added a double-touch zoom, it would be helpful. Thanks for making these games.

I stumbled upon this great puzzler by accident and am amazed at how good it is. Maybe it’s an older game and I’ve just now discovered it. However it managed to fly under my radar is something of a mystery as games like this are a big reason I own an iPad. The controls are smooth, the graphics are nicely rendered and the sound effects, (locks clicking, doors sliding, boxes opening, travel transitions, etc.) are first rate. Best of all are the puzzles. Wow. Most are logical and solvable but a few did require some on-line help. And it’s long. I’ve only just finished Chapter 1, and it took about 3 hours. Chapter 2 is starting off just as strongly as the first. If games like The Room and House of DaVinci are your your cup of tea, then get this game. It’s that good.
