I've been a customer for over 10 years, but the company's service and value for money just isn't what it used to be. They used to advertise themselves as prioritizing the customer and championing the little guy. That was in their early days. But now they've become just another big corp that has lost its soul and love for its customers. Recently, on a $30 prepaid plan my data ran out. Without asking me via mssg if I wanted to add more data they charged me $40 out of my balance for only an extra 84MB of data! Once that 84MB ran out they THEN mssged me saying I was out of data and that I would need to add more. Without knowing about that charge, I added a 500MB data pack for $10, and once that ran out, I checked and discovered what had happened. I could have renewed my whole plan and got another 1.5GB for only $30! I felt that very unethically they charged me $40 for less than 100MB of data. I have screenshots to prove that this happened. Had been thinking of switching providers previously but this put nail in the coffin.
I topped up $20, have been double charged on my credit card, only received $20 top up yet 2 degrees has charged me $40 on my Visa, called them, had to do the whole waiting at the contact centre and after all my trouble they say they can’t promise me that I’ll get a refund and it needs to be approved and that it’ll take up to 10 Woking day... what the hell! The app is faulty and overcharged me yet did not even double credit me on my app. I asked for compensation as it was a waste of my time and also had my partner not raised the double charge on my account than I would haven’t even known they had done this, this would be theft! I had to then request to speak to a manager, who never spoke to me (the staff member tried to stop me from speaking to the manager saying that he can only offer me the same), but later I was then told my refund had been approved and I’ll have it in a few days, but only after I started raising my voice at the issue did they do this! Will have to see if I get my refund and after I use this months credit I’ll prob look for a new provider as this was a major inconvenience!
Have had this app for a few years. Everything has been all good up until recently where I have not been able to pay via the debit/credit card option. Have tried multiple cards but when I click “pay now” it just refreshes the page and doesn’t actually process. The pay by internet banking option works. I used that last month when the card option first stopped working. This month I paid by calling 201 which worked so it must be a problem with the app. Please look into it as it is my go to option to pay
