I love this app! The recipes are so delicious and very simple. Many of them have already become weeknight staples for me. Everything is in Japanese so it helps if you can at least type in Hiragana so that you can search some of the words. I also look up Kanji I don’t know on Jisho. I like that I can practice reading Japanese while cooking delicious meals. Here are a few common words to help you with the recipes if you can’t read Japanese: 大さじ tablespoon 小さじ teaspoon ひとつまみ a pinch 酒 sake みりん mirin 水 water 牛乳 Milk みそ Miso おろししょうが minced ginger おろしにんにくminced garlic 塩 salt 砂糖 sugar ケチャップ ketchup 蠔油 oyster sauce 豆瓣醤 toban djan しょうゆ soy sauce ポン酢 Ponzu ごま油 Sesame oil サラダ油 vegetable oil (salad oil) コンソメ powdered soup stock 豚ミンチ ground pork 豚バラ pork belly (not bacon) ささみ chicken tenders

The app has various nice recipes, but it’s kinda hard to understand all the Japanese. It could be very awesome if they have English translation for the ingredients, or at least make it able to copy the text so users can translate it by themselves.
