This app has been around basically unchanged for 4 years (notice they're still on version 1.10 which is unheard of in active software development.) It lacks some key features that are required to make it useful -- for starters, the learnvest financial plan is based on keeping a weekly spend amount, but you cannot track this in the app. There is also no way to access the other budgeting, tracking, and "challenge" features available online with a paid advisor account, and attempting to skip the app and view online on your phone just directs you to the app. This is a real missed opportunity and greatly decreases the value of their live advisor offering.

The app does not provide the flex spend breakdown like the website version. This is a key feature for keeping up with learnvest advisor guided budgeting and financial planning. This is also the key metric for day to day expenses, which would be the primary reason for mobile app access. Second issue is that the app reloads all accounts each time you open the app. Even if within just a minute or two. I assume this constant and repeated account access will raise fraudulent access red flags at each financial institution. Please set so that the accounts are updated only on the first instance over a long period (like an hour or two) and when the user intentionally updates.

Not sure why the rating doesn't show up when you search for the app as that's a key sign, all users are dissatisfied. They advertise you can connect to your accounts and you input your personal information and there's an error. Regardless of what account/bank you attempt. Tried on different days and same result so appears to be a scam. Now I'm fearful my personal information will be used inappropriately as they clearly can't use it to do what they say and that's assist with your expense allocation. Many better apps as this one is misleading and scary.
