C’mon developers are you reading these reviews? This app is terrible. I’ve entered Australia 3 times in the past 6 weeks and every time I have to start from scratch. However, most frustrating is that for every trip the system forgets my password. I’m 100% certain I’m submitting the correct password but every time I login to the app I’m denied access and have to create a new password. Uploading of the vaccination data is terrible. I have my certificate in my Apple Wallet on my iPhone but I need to get the barcode onto another device so that I can use the iPhone camera to scan it. The passport RFID scanning is very tricky. This is why the app needs to retain data. I should only have to do that once, not every trip. The final outcome is also a terrible user experience - I need to take a screenshot of the summary page but the summary page is formatted so badly it doesn’t fit on one screen. Surely you can output a single screen image or, ideally, an Apple Wallet card. I understand that the health declaration needs to be completed each time but the app should retain the basic identification, passport and vaccination information. Please, do better.

In summary this app: - doesn’t retain login details, adding frustration when having to type credentials on a mobile device - doesn’t retain vaccine info from previous DPDs, so you have to renter that each time as well. - doesn’t cleanly import your COVID 19 vaccine certificate like other apps such as Service NSW, so you have to grab it manually, save a file to your phone, then upload to the app. Then adding to the frustration, you have to manually enter the type and date of each COVID 19 vaccine you had. - every time you travel you have to go through this frustration from scratch, making it one of the worst apps available and far behind other Australian government apps.

While this app is more functional than the last app, it still has a way to go. The main problem is the app constantly signs you out, and offers no FaceID based sign on. Secondly, the questions asked are sometimes repetitive, seemingly asking for the same information in multiple ways. Third, the overall flow, creating multiple forms, is not intuitive and there is no way to export your Summary at the end apart from screen shots. Overall, the team really need to think more about the user experience and not only about the questions all the government departments obviously require. An easier, streamlined experience would make this much easier to use.
