I’ve played every game in this series, getting through each of them in just under a day, (they’re that interesting) so I can faithfully say this series has been getting better and better with each new release. I was surprised with the third and fourth’s new innovations, and while palying the seventh one i couldn’t put off writing a review any longer. Wow!!!! For anyone discouraged by how difficult the puzzles are in the first four games of the series, I’m relieved to say they’ve made the puzzles much less time consuming to figure out, they still rack your brains for clues, but progress is made easier compared to the first game. I was beyond in AWE of the complexity, cleverness, and quality of the puzzles in this installment. Wow. The graphics have also made major improvements, and you get to play the game through the character’s point of view. Absolutely spectacular, and this is coming from someone who rarely enjoys games. I loved playing each of the games in this series. Thank you Five-Bin!

I really like this series of games and was looking forward to playing 7, in part because I always wondered if Susan would have any repercussions for leaving her family to go save Lost Lands. Reading the reviews I was prepared for some glitches. iPhone players should be aware that some screens are woefully dark, so adjust your settings accordingly. Maaron’s transporter may be wonderful for him but it is a pita for everyone else, hard to see in some levels and had me longing for runes. Found clues that in earlier games ended up in the journal were often just gone after a brief viewing. Take notes or be prepared to pay for a hint that more or less says “you just saw that clue, you idiot!” If this is the way the game is to be, I would suggest the developers develop a way to recover the said clues without starting over from the beginning of the game. There are also some translation-type issues in what items are called in places where the game is played (ie, in one HOG, there is a “bat” which looks like a golf club to me) The bonus game was good although suffering from the same glitches. Still glad I paid for the bonus game because I enjoyed it. I will definitely pay for the full version once it comes out. I will revise my review when that happens. I “was” a fan of Lost Lands 1-6(and halfway through 7), but realized I couldn’t get any further past the Temple. 1-6 reviews were a constant 4.8(some were at a point were 4.9). So for the heck of it, I read the reviews for Lost Lands 8-10(these 3 I had downloaded to play later), read what seemed a continuous theme in these reviews that weren’t in reviews in Lost Lands 1-6, from using to many hints(that still didn’t help), to not getting enough hints. To using to my coins, to not getting enough coins. To continuously going back, and forth over and over again. With no results. Items there, or not there depending if you progressed or not. Ads, then no Ads. To the stories have to much dialogue, especially during being timed?? This all sounds very confusing, and frustrating after playing 1-6(that were the best adventure puzzles). But the developers we’re getting less creative, and more “how can we incorporate more spending into the game”. To insert more ideas on how to make more money, and less imagination to your game is basically saying, your trying to squeeze juice out of a turnip, and hoping to get the same results. If it wasn’t for countless fake 5 star reviews from 7-10, your games would probably rate as a 4.1. Last thing, I will not be playing 8-10, I will be deleting thing. Thanks for the great work on 1-6, and no thanks for putting out 7-10.
