I truly never leave reviews for any app just because I genuinely don’t find my input that important but I absolutely have to leave a review. My partner and I were going over finances and went to go check out our saving pods. When we go to login in we are denied and told our account was closed. I immediately begin to panic because we have money in there and I was scared we wouldn’t be able to get it back. I reached out to Ivella after Buisness hours and was nervously waiting for a response and knew I was probably going to have to wait until the next day and was really stressed. Within 40 minutes I had a reply, an answer as to what happened to our account, an our account was back up and we were able to access our funds again. I have never had such quick, efficient and professional response and action from any customer support…ESPECIALLY OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS!!…they truly know what they are doing and take pride in it! Just because this is a newer app please do not let it deter you! Give it a try and see if you like it as much! It also can’t hurt you that their savings pods off 5.15%apy!! Free money?? Absolutely for me!

My SO and I originally downloaded this app to make splitting our finances easier. Not only did Ivella exceed our expectations in that aspect but it also made such a complicated topic like handling money so much more fun! Here are some of our favorite features:
⭐️Split accounts: what drew us in to Ivella -- it's basically like venmo / splitwise but between couples. You can customize the ratios you're splitting an expense for (e.g. 70/30) and it just makes it SOOO much easier to go on dates and really focus on spending quality time together without the headache of sorting out who paid for what after.
⭐️Savings pods: since graduating college, my SO and I have been making it a goal to save money together, and savings pods have been a lifesaver for this. With 5.15% APY (3% higher than my bank!!), it feels like free money LOL. I also love how I can customize what I'm saving for (e.g. travel, house, emergency fund).
⭐️Daily prompts: unexpectedly our favorite part!! I rarely check my banking apps but answering these little prompts everyday (e.g. how can we support each other better?) have helped make it a habit to check my finances while growing closer together with my SO.

I found out about Ivella through an online ad, and I was immediately intrigued by the referral bonus offered, and I had been looking for an alternative option to completely joining bank accounts with my partner. I really liked the idea of having two separate accounts, while still sharing some aspects of our accounts, and I loved having the ability to decide exactly how much we wanted to share-either completely joining accounts or having two individual accounts, but creating common goals for us both to work toward together…but separately. This all sounded great, and I was excited to learn that I would receive a referral bonus for inviting my partner. He was excited to set up his account, as well, however, he ended up not being able to sign up, and we were given little explanation as to why this was. So, unfortunately, that meant no referral bonus for either of us, and it looks like I will have to use Ivella without my other half, but I guess that’s okay. The app is great even if you don’t have a significant other to share it with. I’m still learning all the ins and outs, but so far, so good!
