My Miele clothes dryer would not turn on this morning, and I became acquainted with Puls for the first time. An appointment was made for servicing between 4 and 5 PM today. I juggled my schedule to make sure I could be here. Then I received a message canceling that appointment and setting another appointment for 9 AM tomorrow. That appointment was also canceled, and I was told to reschedule again. I replied that I expected the second appointment to be kept. (Why make these appointments if they’re never kept?) At this point, around 9 PM, I still have no confirmation of what’s going on. There’s sure a lot to be desired here, although it’s a good idea in theory. It’s just not working well.

(1) I’m a tech & Puls has screwed me over time & time again. On my very first repair, I didn’t get paid because Puls wouldn’t let me accept a check from an elderly couple. Then, on top of that, Puls banned the elderly couple from using their app. (2) Puls told me I wasn’t getting paid for a whole week of work because ONE customer didn’t pay for a service call. I called Puls while I was still there at the residence & Puls told me “Don’t worry, go ahead & leave. We’ll take care of it.” Holding my week’s wage hostage is them taking care of it evidently. (3) I informed Puls that my customer & I agreed to reschedule an appointment, so Puls then claims that I was a “no show” & fined me $75. (4) When I type in the price of whichever part that I’m replacing, the app automatically raises the price to a larger amount so that Puls makes more money. (5) If a customer tries to cancel their membership, Puls first makes them return any money saved on repairs during said membership. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM PULS…UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF & DISRESPECTED ON A REGULAR BASIS.

Puls has become a platform that takes advantage of both clients and technicians. The support team is full of low-logic, untrained reps who don’t listen, don’t understand technical limitations, and constantly push jobs through without proper resolution — just to deduct money from techs. Their app is buggy — jobs don’t even show up on the calendar properly, yet they still penalize techs for “missed” appointments. I had a situation where I contacted support to inform them that a Nest thermostat is not compatible with a high-voltage system, and instead of supporting the tech (me), they insisted I go out anyway — then deducted money from me without confirmation. If a client doesn’t pay, Puls does absolutely nothing — maybe just apologizes. But if a tech cancels or is late, they hit you with a $75 penalty instantly. It’s clear the system is built to protect their own interests, not to support the hard-working techs or even deliver a consistent experience for clients.
