I have used this App multiple times, and so far I have not been plagued with connection problems or high lag times. The developer’s responses here seem to indicate that they work hard to fix any issues that come up. Personally I would never call a patient outside of the office any other way!! Do you really want any and every patient that you call to have your cell phone number? Sure you can use *67 - but even I won’t answer calls that aren’t identified. This offers a very elegant solution. You can add multiple “from” numbers - so I have my office and a the hospital’s main number stored in the system. I am trying to work on a way for it to say “The Whitehouse” or “Donald Trump” is calling. If anyone has those numbers, drop me an email! Thanks in advance.

Eager to use the App, however, it requires many users/physicians to permanently disable caller ID blocking. For many users that would require a “permanent” unblocking through the phone company or carrier , as the ability or flexibility to selectively block/unblock an iPhone is not an option under settings with certain carriers. The concern is that a physician must permanently disable their caller ID blocking; it leaves such users vulnerable to having their phone line or identity visible to others when Doximity dialing is either not initialized or not desired for making particular calls. This request was submitted to the developer a long time ago and it appears there is still no attempt or desire to allow people to register their number with Doximity with the *82 feature to reveal users’ numbers for exclusive Doximity registration . This is a real shame as it precludes potentially many users from taking advantage of such great features. Please address this! Thank you.

I use this app nearly every day to call patients. It is fast and efficient. It works 98% of the time. I know it is available in the main app but I don’t use the social network much and I want to be able to go straight to the Dialer. I HATE that now, every time I call, I get a message reminding me that I can access the dialer in the main Doximity app. I get it. Not interested, unless they add a setting so that the Doximity app opens straight to the dialer. Would get 5 stars if I could get rid of that reminder.
