I was walking quite a bit, but not every day. It gave me an initial goal of 18,000 steps a day! After disappointing it, it lowered my goal to 16,400. Then, last week, I barely completed the goal 3 days and then I got sick. For 4 days in a row, I walked less than 2,000 steps. My new daily goal: 16,500 steps. 100 more than last week, and I haven’t made my goal for 4 days! My wife, on the other hand, made her goal more than I did, and her new daily goal stayed the same! Whatever method they are using for establishing goals makes absolutely no sense and seems to be rigged so that it is hard to complete, not encouraging healthy living, but encouraging burning out on the app. I’m just about there.

I must say that being a person who had to walk every day to work or to take my son to daycare, this app has become very beneficial. It actually makes me want to walk more so I can earn the points. I love how the points go to my Drop account. I wish that the referral points were higher though. Drop is 5000 ($5) per invite right now, so Carrot should try doing a referral boost at times. This will make people more interested in using it. Other than that I love the app.

The only ones people might actually use are the aeroplan and petropoints ones, but I don't have those so pretty useless. Can't comment on the app functionality since I deleted after seeing there were no options for me.
