I tried most of the multimedia apps out there. I was looking for something I could use to organize and watch my videos on my iPad as well as project them to my Xbox or chromecast so that I had the option of watching them on the big screen, AND be able to connect to my home network so that I could access my main PC where my library of videos and music is located. AND, it had to play a variety of formats. I only found a couple that fit but the interfaces were terrible!!!
This app is VERY USER FRIENDLY. The use of folders and thumbnails is very easy on the eyes and I don't have to think about how I want to access my files wherever they are... I just do it!
The only thing I've seen on other apps are ways to adjust the hue, saturation, and contrast of the individual files. That would be NICE since a couple of files are poorly filmed but even if that never happens i can deal with it. It's such a minor thing compared to all that this does... and it's extremely well priced for all that it does! I'm very happy as I rely on this for my job quite heavily and it makes my life so much easier!

**UPDATE: I continue to love this app but am disappointed that it continues to have issues with the higher definition MKV video files where they might play but either don't track properly or the majority of the time just won't play the sound. It's still a fantastic app and I love using it but it would be great if they could fix this issue.
Prior Review: This is a fantastic app and works great for everything I need it for with videos. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't handle AVI files which I occasionally use and don't want to deal w the hassle of converting it. Otherwise this is exactly what I was seeking and tried 10+ apps that promised similar applications but didn't work.

One of the most powerful mobile apps available on any mobile platform. Can open/play just about every file type, organize all your files, access and manipulate files on your network... you can have 3 or 4 different apps to do all this and pay 3 or 4 times as much, or you can just use this one. Amazing.
