Age of Ishtaria

After playing this game for two years here are my thoughts 1) first they have the same 3 or 4 events on a repeat cycle and there is never any new events or gameplay. Gets boring fast. 2) they expect you to spend $600 plus trying to get any new characters to play. And yes if they say on your 25th try youll get the character they mean 25th. Each roll is 3000 coins or $30 plus tax. 3) what is worse they have built the new series of bosses (sprites,tarots, etc) to basically be undefeatable unless you have paid a lot of money to create a 9 star team. 4) relating to 3, when you do gamble for stronger cards, with higher dmg, higher skill chance, burst gauge, special skills guess what.? You cant use this with the boss fights. They reduce your skill chance to point of non existence, they dont allow burst, they reduce your dmg, and you cant use skills because they are reset each turn…so why bother even getting stronger cards! I would not recommend this game as you can see why.

First off this is a fun and lovely game. Been a yr 1 player, playing almost since it came out. With that being said, it can tend to crash once in a while but you can reopen to where you left off, kind of. It has no real benefits to long term players but is great if you love games to grind and potentially waste money if you choose to do so. An overall good game that includes beautiful art and design, if you don’t mind the weird translations and ecchi-ness... or look for that? whatever floats your boat. Update: wow, amazing support! They literally fixed an issue within seconds of me sending them an email. I don’t even know how, that’s amazing. Lost out of 50 crowns because of it but it was an acceptable loss for the extremely timely fix of the main issue. Good luck getting higher than a p7. The rng is really harsh.

If you are new and wondering if you should download the game, I would advise you not to, unless you are willing to dish out a ton of cash. I have been playing the game for years now. I love the game, but the recent changes have made the game a lot less enjoyable for players that don’t dish out thousands of dollars. Before, paying for packs would give you an advantage, but you could still enjoy the game as a free player because those units would be available in the exchange a few months later. Not only that, but now event ranking rewards are exclusively old units that you could already purchase from the exchange and have been in the game for years now. This has removed any motivation to participate in events at all, because the literal only way to continue advancing in this game is to pay thousands of dollars for packs that have terrible pull rates, or save crowns for months in hopes that a pack will have a guarantee 8* pull, and even then the guaranteed pulls can still give you something that is useless to you. Even for those paying all this money for packs, there is no point in doing it, because the rewards they are getting from events are worthless. I really hope that there is someone from silicon studios reading this and that they take into consideration that the changes they have made have ruined the experience for many of their dedicated players that love the game and have been playing for years, but I highly doubt it because all it seems that this company cares about is milking as much cash as they can out of people.
