Documentaries for everyone! Especially for anyone who wants to learn more about docs, get FREE streaming access to great ones... Gasland, Hungry for Change, Hot Coffee, The Whale... as well as off the beaten path gems that would be hard to find in the typical digital store (a doc about air guitaring!). Thanks to visually simple but useful categories, it's easy for a novice to browse or a doc fan to find something new. It reminds of the good ol' days when you could go to a video store employed by die-hard movie lovers and they created those thematic shelves and wrote little cards full of notes to tell you what's what. I'm also glad that subscription is an option (for ad-free streaming) as I dig in and the movies get bigger and better. I'm also really really glad movies load fast. This is already becoming one of my go-to apps to find something new to watch.

I was introduced to Docurama thru a friend a while ago, and had been enjoying the program on my connected TV, but I didn't get a chance to access the films on my iPad... Until now. I'm so excited this service has come to iOS. The docs are super captivating - perfect for passionate film lovers, like myself. And the best part, it's free! But I definitely recommend the low cost monthly subscription for ad free streaming, it's totally worth it!

Thanks for a great app! There is a lot of free content and documentaries and it is good quality video on my 5S. The only thing I would like to see is a wish list so I am save movies and watch them later. As it is now you can't save movies so you wrote the name down and search it when you are ready to watch. Minor complaint though based on the amount is free content.
