This is probably as close to Factorio on a mobile device as you're gonna get. The ad model is also super respectful - you can skip all ads easily, they are infrequent and you can pay to remove all ads (which I generally prefer to do once I've figured out that I like a game). Will update with more details as I play (looooots) more, but I'm loving it so far... :)
Update: after playing some more there's one recommendation that I think would improve the game hugely - the Supplier should be able to output ANY item. Currently, all your builds sure separate and self-contained, so your factory is just a bunch of disconnected chunks that don't interact with each other at all. Being able to effectively move items between your builds would make things a lot more interesting. It would just need some kind of efficiency tradeoff between building centrally vs building locally.

First let me start by saying this game is awesome and I love it for what it is, even if there are ads. I understand that life is life and you need money. The only this that I have found to profoundly take away from the experience of playing such a wonderful is that there is no sound for anything. There are only sounds for the menus and buttons you press with a finger. There’s no sounds for the robots, the furnace or pretty much anything else in the game. That’s all though, I love the game

First the bad news: since I discovered this game, my productivity at work has plummeted. Oh no. Anyways…
Mr. Patel saw there was nothing in the way of iOS factory games, and he delivered.
- Nice use of touch interfaces.
- Well thought out processes, incrementally becoming more complex.
- A challenging competition board. At first I thought I’d never catch up, but slowly it is becoming possible.
- A great pricing system. I will happily pay for one time ad removals and no micro transactions.
This game is a must have for those who like the genre.
As others have pointed out, would be nice to be able to draw anything from storage. It’s getting maddening trying to route things all over the place now, and I’m only on Science 5.
