Perfect Grind

Bought the games premium version after having tried it before, and liking it. I am a fan of this sort of formula and this is really the only game filling this sort of space at the moment. Upon my return (after many patches updates and bug fixes) the controls seem stiff? Your flip tricks take you in the direction of where you’re flicking while in the air but its more like your character shifts in the air and doesn’t actually turn kinda feels odd. The main thing was that so many swipe gestures have similar motions and you aren’t ever really told “play with your thumb glued to the phone” which honestly made it feel stiffer. The lack of control options was kinda expected since its a touch screen game but customizable gestures and or buttons could help with this. The game is fun but I would LOVE to see the controls refined. I thought the plan b deck Easter egg was cool! ALSO ALSO ALSO The challenges are actively open when you are currently tasked with one making it infuriating sometimes to skate around to complete a mission without getting asked to start another. I would love to talk with the devs and give them feedback on their perfect Idea

If you’re someone who’s ever wanted to replay the Pro Skater games from the early 2000s or wanted a similar experience, this is the game for you. They basically take the game controls of that game and make them into mobile controls. Not with the use of buttons on screen but rather with finger movement and swipe controls which helps to declutter the screen. Plus, the game plays in vertical mode which means that you won’t have to worry about turning your phone sideways to play. The game has a very cute friendly cartoon cel-shaded design to it that allows it to have its own personality. The in-game music and sound effects also help match that vibe. Also, the game allows you to earn skate wheels in which you can use the redeem character skins as an added bonus to progression. You unlock them not only through completing the tasks but also by getting a high number score on a trick. The game when downloaded is a free demo of the first two levels but paying the extra money for the entire game I do believe is worth it. If the devs read this, I do believe it benefits to allow a free demo followed by an optional purchase of the full game. It encouraged me and I’m sure it did many others.

This game is amazing I’ve been having a blast and I told all my friends about it and we’ve been playing and the customization is good too. The game is easy to play too with still having verity of a tricks and best part it’s free ish and still has much to do with the cool challenges. Now for the iffy part. The pay wall I understand it completely and it’s not much but paywalls do affect how the game is viewed. This game has a lot of potential. I suggest(which most likely happen) is to just keep adding characters, tricks(A trick book to see all of them and how to do it),customization, maps and challenges. Last maybe make it a tiny bit easier to earn the in-game currency. Overall 9/10
