I have very fond memories of this game, and it's one of the best games on the store. However, I must reconsider this statement due to the update that 'improved' AI strategy. By 'improve', the devs mean unbalance. Apparently, money doesn't exist for the enemy, since they can send out riflemen every five seconds, and still call in artillery strikes every ten. Note, this is in normal mode. Then there's also the enemy using units in certain years when they either didn't have said technology, or it didn't exist period. For instance, I was playing as the French in 1915, and a German tank comes rolling across the field. This is a problem because A, the BRITISH invented the tank, B, it was invented in 1916, and C, the Germans built very few tanks. Immediately after I destroyed the first tank, a second one showed up. Do I even need to explain why this is unbalanced? The devs also said that trench foot was added to TV game, which is a blatant lie. The only part about this update that was truthful was the inclusion of the Eastern front. Look, I don't hate this game. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't buy this game until the Devs fix it. That, or buy the original. Hopefully they'll fix this.

Tablet mode does not work in campaign. It will work in skirmish mode. I have tried every method to get it to work on my iPad but the campaign mode is to large, can’t be played

When I first picked up trenches a few years ago, I was very surprised how well thought up it was and how much fun playing it with my friends was. I never thought I would see trenches 2. When this game was first released I was impressed with the graphics and the overall play. I felt like I was playing world war 1. Now that the eastern front has been added, It feels more like ww1. The difficulty has also been made for difficult which is a plus. Now I am encouraged and challenged to think before I act. Overall, this game is great and I have played many hours on it. It is one of those "one more battle" type of games that really keeps you engaged. I think one of the drawbacks though is the lack of trenches in the game. Trench warfare did not have a trench every now and then, they were everywhere. I do like what they have done with the carts and sheds but I would like to see more trenches. Some suggestions I had were that engineers could dig trenches. I would also like to see Austria-Hungary added as a nation so there aren't so many allied powers. Another idea I had was to add a mode where there can be more than two players, so u could have a two on two or something. I would recommend this game to anyone that really enjoys strategy and ww1. This game is very enjoyable and has so much potential. I am excited to see where it goes next!
