I have been looking for an app that I could use my iphone as a wireless microphone and connect to my airplay devices. I have tried all, and mostly they do NOT work, they have a multipage legal disclaimer, or they have to many additional things going on. While this app does not directly provide live voice, it does an excellent job of connecting and playing your recorded voice. Since it is a recording, there is no feedback. My appreciation to the author for a well done job! Possibly a live version later?

When paired with an Apple TV I am able to scold my kids if I'm in the bathroom or the other end of the house. My kids get so surprised to hear my voice coming out of the TV that they listen and quick.
I love how simple this app is! Quick and straight forward when I need to get a message across. I don't care if it has to record me first. It makes it more entertaining to get to listen to my own voice and hear the reaction of my kids.
I LOVE this app and recommend it to all mothers with an Apple TV!!

This app is amazing! I have a usb powered speaker plugged into an airport express behind the tv and I can broadcast from the backyard or the garage down below the house. What would make this even more amazing is if I were able to do it remotely. Much the same way I have a video webcam. I can certainly remotely view my webcam through my iPhone, why couldn't I broadcast remotely either? Purpose: My dogs are not likely to destroy things when they here my voice from time to time unsupervised ;-)

Intercom lets you broadcast your voice to any AirPlay or Bluetooth audio destination on your network or paired to your device. Just selecting your speakers from the list of available audio routes. Then hold down the Talk button and speak your message. When you let go of the talk button, your message is broadcasted to the selected speaker.
