I used to like this app. I was a great tool for travelers. When Tripadvisor took over, I cheered because I love the TA app! However, Gate Guru is now a joke. They don't update the restaurants and there is no way to add one. EWR terminal C changed over all the restaurants. However, most of the old ones are still there and many of the new ones are missing. How hard is it to go to the airport website and update the content. I recommended that to them 4 months ago - no response, no change. Also, most places only have 1-2 reviews. Bottom line: you can't count on this app for accuracy or ratings. Don't get it until TA folds this into their regular app or fixes the problems. Yelp is better!

I love this app when it's working - adore it. The only problem is it all of a sudden is completely unusable to me now. It comes up with "Unknown error" messages every time I try to log in, and if it lets me log in (after dozens of tries) I can't use the app at all, every time I try to select anything or refresh I get an "Oops, something went wrong" message, every. Single. Time. I tried restarting numerous times, and deleted and reinstalled the app three times to try to fix it. I even tried to create a new account (which still gave me the error message). I'm really disappointed that I have a flight tomorrow and this app is completely unusable now, I really loved it when it worked.

Gate Guru provides a superb list of amenities in each airport, with a sort and filter feature to let you research a particular terminal in the larger airports, and search for a specific eatery's location! Plus the airport map feature allows you to evaluate the level of effort to make your next flight, for example; today we are traveling thru IAH, arriving at terminal B and departing at terminal C. We quickly located our gates and location of clubs and eateries! Keep up the good work!
