This app is in terrible need of an update. It crashes when entering new info. When you try to input data into one of the fields, for example “Facebook PW”, it changes to some unrecognizable jibberish like “&$/;>}” when trying to save it. Additionally, the foreground screen for unlocking the app is very dark on top
of having black numbers in the background to unlock it, essentially giving a “black on black“ effect making it somewhat difficult to see the actual numbers you need to tap to unlock the app even with brightness on device turned all the way up. I’ve dealt with this for years but is it really that difficult to configure numbers that are better visible to the user?? For places in low light, it’s just annoying, but in places with high light (ie outside & in rooms where you have the light on) it’s almost impossible to see the actual numbers behind the “vault doors”. Update this bad boy & it might be worth something.

A little voice in my head told me a couple of times to back up my 50 + passwords stored in the app. I didn't listen and a week later the app on my current iPhone 4s would not open. I used the app on my iPhone 3 and never had a problem. Years later I got an iPhone 4s and installed the app, used it for 3 years with no problem. I checked the app on the old iPhone 3 and it opens. I had also backed up these passwords but they were all old and out of date. I tried to restore the iPhone 4s but that did not fix the problem. I then deleted the app from the 4s and restored again. It worked! I'm elated. I tested these solutions on my old iPhone before I did them on the 4s to see if/when I might lose the password info on the app. I did not lose any info. So, I am wondering if the problem is because of the app (for which I also discovered there is no longer any support for), or is it some other issue? Now I will keep another copy of all my data somewhere else and will only rely on this app as a convenient way of carrying around all my info with me.

Tried export to no avail in the free version. Been using the app for quite a long time and have had no issues exporting either. After disabling, enabling wifi on the phone and using two different computers, (app's web server is not accessible at all) I thought I should upgrade to pro version which I thought would automatically upgrade the app, bring in the data and then I can export too. The pro app has no such feature what it can recognize free version, offer an auto import and make life a bit easier. Anyway, I checked and found out that export does not work even in the pro version. It seems to have broken, the web server does not respond at all. Money wasted and stuck without a current backup.

You never know what might happen to your phone in the middle of a sync :-) Also, the iTunes backup is not enough in some cases especially when you have to replace your phone or reset it, so make sure you use the WiFi backup method to protect your data. Its the only way to make sure your data is safe when doing a sync or restore for your device.
