I love this game... I've played others by them.. The Healing, The Sign & seven.... They are all absolutely amazing! It had to take a lot of time & work for these games I cannot even imagine! You almost feel like you're really there! I love the authors... Their sense of humor is great & I love the little sidebars with them! It's totally worth paying for this game... First of all the extras are really nice plus being able to skip through the mini games is such a relief... But also they truly deserve it... Although you can absolutely play for free... I really suggest paying for a month at least. You WILL NOT REGRET IT! You can really immerse yourself into this game.. It's not one you play just to pass the time.. You've got to pay attention & think about your choices because it really does affect the route in which it goes... Also, I LOVED SEEING CHARLIE! I also love having Wolf there! I don't wanna say too much more & ruin it for anyone but I do highly recommend their games... & to the author's...please keep developing these games... They are really amazing & the absolute best of it's kind! PS... If you love jump scares... This is definitely the game for you!
Just finished. Overall, it was okay. But this game has a serious pacing issue. I don’t mind interactive games like this that requires texting, but can the characters just get to the point already so we can move on? So many of these conversations are fillers, repetitive and unnecessary. And then just as you’re at the end, you get thrown into a group text with the writers which again, unnecessary and waste of more time. Like can you just let me get to the finish line already? Some of the characters are cool, but others really get on my nerves as the story went on. Wolf is hands down my favorite, loved him! I also like Carla, Leon, Amber and Henry too. Nicolas and Mika annoyed me the most out of all. Having that time where you don’t have to interact with those two was wonderful. Sam and Ina are cool, but trying to navigate them to the chapel because time is running out and Ina wants to text about how bad everything is—like ma’am, we’ve had this conversation 100 times already and now is not the time to revisit it once again. Also the mini games get worse as you go on, best to just pay the $12 to bypass them.
I stumbled across this while looking for something “different” to play that didn’t involve my dealing with immature trolls out to ruin my fun. I love ghost hunter shows and was intrigued by this idea and I couldn’t be happier with the experience thus far. Storyline is absolutely intriguing and I’m dying (pardon the pun) to see where things go from here. The gameplay is non-linear so your actions drive the story’s direction. Your interaction with the other characters can change their disposition toward you and thus drive the story in many different directions. It’s quite interesting, honestly, although I may be giving it more credit than what it is ACTUALLY doing. Regardless, it’s just FUN!! Definitely give this one a try! Especially if this is your first time to try this style of game. Just you, the game AI, and no trolls…. I’m lovin’ it!
