I’ve put a good 4 hours into this game as it’s very addicting but I’ve quickly picked up on a lot of errors. The biggest error, and definitely what kills the game for me, is the matchmaking and SR system. I was at about 800 rating and would be matched with 500 rating players. I understand the amount of rating you win/lose should be different but the difference is so significant that they shouldn’t even match the two. As I’d win against 500 rating I’d get +2 rating which feels like a waste of time and extremely risky. I got matched and lost to a guy with 240 rating. I lost a whopping 50 rating!! That put me back at least 5 matches and up to 20 matches for those +2 rating matches that you get so often. Keep in mind this is just Arena 2. It makes progression unnecessarily difficult. Most of the pre-game tips have grammatical errors. There isn’t anything that tells you what the chests give so you’re stuck wondering if they're worth getting. Same applies for the skins. I have no idea how you’re supposed to unlock them.

I don’t usually right reviews for starters, but this game is amazing. I truly enjoy the strategy behind using the spells and memorizing certain combos depending on who you go against to swap on the fly can really amp up the skill needed to play and enjoy this at the higher tier levels, as far as new comers, def a better intro and upkeep with the spells and what they do, I saw another review about Moran’s, whom I love is probably the most viable given the most recent update, but that being said knowing the amounts of damage and such helps. Another example of this is the arrow which is really spammy but doesn’t show it does some bleed damage afterward for -6 over time? Or the blizzard which shows a flat damage value on the description but the longer it’s channeled the more damage it does over time. Again amazing game but some fine tuning that would very much need to be had. Now for the devs, the biggest tackle I see in the coming weeks for future updates is the matchmaking, I too am currently stuck at 500 trophies with long que times to not find anyone to match with. Not to mention the grind to get there getting +2 and +3 trophies every match. Is there some roadmap with planned updates? Again I enjoy this game and it’s easy to hop in run a few and put down, but please push and update out to address these concerns along with others indicated in reviews!

This is the most amazing strategy I have ever played. A lot of people are complaining about unfair combos, but I’ve been playing the game for a week now, and I have found zero spell combos that couldn’t be avoided (if you can’t stop them, then its better to first start actually looking at the defensive options given to you to stop them). One of the best parts of this game is learning other players fighting style and using it for yourself, or looking for weaknesses in said fighting style and exploiting them. Also, props to the developer for basically making you start with everything you need to become no. 1. Yeah sure, there are locked spells depending on your level, and different locked characters, but they feel more like new ways to play, instead of just better ways. Honestly, the only issue I saw might be about the tutorial being unspecified on what shields block what and what offensive spells go through what, as I saw quite a lot of players constantly using the wrong shield for the wrong attack, then again, this could just be intentional to encourage exploration of the mechanics. Either way, AMAZING game, and I hope other people will support it, as of the Time of me writing this, it only has 3.2 stars, which is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Anyways, 😄/10, highly recommend.
