The game is pretty basic with insane amount of buttons and other confusing features but that doesn’t stop the fact that the game is still pretty awesome. Although there are a lot of terrible features like the catching system. The system is really bad because to catch a certain type of rarity pokemon it takes a lot of the pokeball and so at that level it’s hard to get said pokeball. Ex: Say you wanting to catch a orange rarity type Pokémon it takes masterballs to catch the Pokémon and if you run out of the masterballs and go to the ultra balls you have a even less of a chance to catch the Pokémon before you were using he masterball. The master isn’t a 100% catch either which is fair to be honest but what they should add is a system where the Pokémon has a percentage and it goes down every time you throw a pokeball, but the pokeball (pokeball, great ball, ultra ball, master ball) has different numbers and so it decreases it like so. That’s is one of many features I disliked. Other than that the game is pretty good/decent.

The pay walls are just too frequent and really pushes me away. I had 6k gems (paid currency) and I wanted to buy a Pokémon in the shop for 2500. Guess what, I can’t because I’m not VIP 6!!!! I was VIP2, meaning I spent a little money to get what I had and where I was. Yes you do get gems at a great rate starting off in the game and above average after the 7 day period, but what’s the point if you can’t spend them on what you want? I’m not talking 1 item, but all higher level Pokémon require VIP status to get them. You can purchase stuff that you get daily and reset instances and things that aren’t urgent. I saved for a great Pokémon, spent real money, grinder, just to be slapped in the face. Their is a good game here, but it’s hidden behind a pay 2 win wall. The best part is the Pokémon I tried to purchase did not say it was a VIP6 Exclusive until I clicked to buy it. Make sure you like this game or wait a week before you dump your money in it. It’s exciting at first and after a week the sparkles wear off revealing the WALL of shame. Sorry to say I have deleted this potentially good game. Good luck and you’ve been warned.

Overall im having fun with this game. It’s a different concept from most games and i definitely keeps you busy. Someone pointed out the catching mechanic could be a lot better and i would agree that it shouldn’t take 6 master balls or more to catch one pokemon. But what frustrates me the most about this app is that you use Gems to get a lot of things in this game and thats ok most pay to win games do this where you can buy more to speed things up. But when you have these Gems and there deemed useless in some cases because you have “Recharge” your Gems which pretty much means.. “you have gems! But! In order to get this deal or increase or VIP you need to purchase the Gems directly from the store in the app, Even though you can have more then enough to purchase it with the Gems you already have. This is just sad and really kills the game for me. I hope the developers can fix this and can understand that this concept is ridiculous.
