At first I didn't see how it was better than an ordinary timer. But it shows how many machines are available so you don't waste your time by going when they're all in use. Also even if you forget to set the reminder at the beginning, but remember your machine number you can start it any time which is really useful.

When I saw the app, I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. The interface is extremely clean and it’s easy to tell what type of machines are available in each dorm realtime. It even comes with a convenient integrated timer. A must have for any incoming Michigan student.

This is a lot easier than actually browsing through the UM housing website to find my exact laundry machine. It is also very accurate so it's not misleading. It has a clean and simple UI so even MSU students can easily use this app.
