Reviews: What People Think About Wear Ditto

I’ve had three different Dittos and have been happy with the way each worked. The first one stopped working after a year or so and they sent me a new one. The second one stopped working after a couple years and I purchased another one. It lasted a long time and still works except the metal spring to open and close it to clothing broke and I can’t make contact with anyone. I’m beginning to think they went out of business. I’ve tried to purchase them several places and they are out of them. The last post on their site is two years old. Too bad because the principal of it was great. It saved me more than once from losing my cellphone and being hard of hearing, it helped me catch calls I might has missed.

This is a good product! There were a couple of issues with firmware update and an issue with the previous app version but these have been corrected. The support is good, received two emails after their first reply to my issues to be sure it was now working properly.
The key to this product is where you wear it so you don’t miss feeling it. It is so tiny and light I wear it on the neck of my tee shirt where I can not only feel it every time but can also hear it. I don’t even know it’s there until it goes off. If I’m only wearing a button up shirt I clip it just under the top button that I’m going to use, on the button side of the shirt. That way it doesn’t show when I button that button.

Update, Day 2: it seems to work most of the time when I set alarms in the Ditto app, but alarms don't work in at least one 3rd party app (Alarmed, in this case - go figure!). Thinking of sending it back.
I just received my Ditto today and only briefly connected to my phone. There was a firmware update, but the message kept toggling between "preparing firmware" and "update," before the update failed.
On a hunch, I removed the battery and gently bent the metal that contacts the side of the battery. The update then went smoothly and it hasn't disconnected once. I may slip a piece of a business card behind the metal to keep the pressure on the battery connection.
The alarms could also use some work. As someone else mentioned, I set an alarm for 5:45 as a test, but the snooze was scheduled for 10:32!
Haven't yet had it an hour so time will tell.
