I've tried LOTS of relaxation/pain relief apps and this is always my go-to one. The woman's voice is pleasant to listen to and the background music is calming. If you don't want to hear instructions every time, you do have to upgrade which I think was $2.99 (?) but worth it. I don't know if I'm truly hypnotized but I am deeply relaxed and this app does actually help me manage my chronic pain (headaches and muscle pain). I find it great to fall asleep to, as you can set the music to continue after the session is over (if you haven't fallen asleep already!) Like that you can turn off the voice and just listen to the music. Find this helpful if I want to relax for just a quick 10 minutes or so. I know the FAQs said it was designed without a rewind feature, but I would love to have that option. It sometimes takes me a while to settle down and I hate having to start over. Other than that, this is really one of the best relaxation/pain management apps out there!
