I have played this game multiple times and was super disappointed to learn that their newest edition, Card City Nights 2, is essentially a totally different game (they abandoned the single player focus.) There are a million different multiplayer games but very few solid single player games in the mobile world. That’s why I love this one - it is one of so few. If you’re looking for that single player fix, skip the newer edition and go with this one instead. It’s definitely worth the $.

Arrange cards on a grid to form combos. As you beat opponents, you get stronger cards from packs. It's got a relaxed sense of humor and tone. If you like charming puzzle/card games, you'll really like this. I have 30+ hours on Steam. Once you beat it, there's not much. For 99 cents it's a great purchase, with no pay 2 win. Fun!!!!!

I spent 15 hours playing through the storyline, and that's the most I've ever spent on ANY mobile game. Card City Nights is a true hidden gem and deserves more love. It is extremely addictive and fun, and there is plenty of humor tossed in to keep you entertained.
