The main reason I keep Deductr is because their reports are great. The mileage tracker is not automatic so I pay for a different app for that. The online platform is mostly okay. You can’t search for specific transactions, you can’t look at specific categories. If I want to generate a report for a specific time frame, too bad, you need to export it as a csv and do it yourself. Not to mention that the software and use is like completely different for business and personal. You would think the same basic functionality would be for both, but if you get used to using one you have to totally learn to use the other.
The app is super cumbersome. No simple swiping to categorize. It’s all very unfriendly.
Really for the price point they are lacking. I am giving them the year to really start to amp their game before I look elsewhere.

I am having trouble with the mileage tracker. I push start and it forgets and isn’t calculating the miles! I went on a long trip and I started it at the beginning of my trip and when i went to log it it said 11.9.. I’ve been having troubles for 2 months now with this. Quite frustrated. Its the #1 reason I even use the App??! Please fix this!

I’ve used Deductr since 2010 and while it has give through different iterations and upgrades with all the bugs that come with new development one thing has remained constant, it keeps me on top of my deductible expenses and has put thousands of dollars back in my pocket in the past 7 years. If you’re not using Deductr in your business you’re giving the tax man too much money, period.
