When I change my Lock Screen wallpaper, I always keep the image at the very bottom of the screen so the notifications and podcast play controls don’t cover it up. All I need is a simple app that lets me take my full-size image with a black background and move it to the bottom of another black background big enough to serve as wallpaper. Previously, I was using a Pixelmator template I created. Today, December of 2021, I finally looked for a better way and found this app. I was able to do what I needed in a mere six seconds! Yes, this app hasn’t been updated in four years, which my phone notified me of upon launching, but it still works perfectly on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Thank you, Developer, for creating it.

This app allows you to shrink or enlarge your photo to fit within the constraints of the iPhone display as a wallpaper AND if dimensions are smaller than the iPhone display create a border of any color you wish via selecting it from a gradient color palette. Black is the default which looks perfect to me. It took me 2 tries to get it right. When I resized to the edges the iPhone window the sides were cropped slightly. I reloaded the previously edited photo and just shrunk it in a little bit and saved it back to photos. Went to photos, selected the edited photo, share, and “Use as Wallpaper”. The App retains the original photo.

My wallpapers are always too big for my phone screen considering it is a square or a big collage. You can zoom in to focus on one thing or you can have a color background and show all of the picture you want without leaving anything out! I have been looking for this and it is perfect ! I have been looking for this for a long time now and I have finally found what I have been looking for :) deserves to be rated 5 stars and hopefully it never deletes !
