Why would you change the app? Now you have to pick who assisted and where the assist happened. Why do you need to know where the assist was? You have to tap shot chart to show where a steal happened on the court. Why does that matter? You have to keep track of the opposing teams score. Before you could just put it in at the end of the game. Basketball is fast paced. It was hard enough to keep track of everything before but at least the names would pop up of the other players on the court at that time when it came to assists and rebounds. Horrible now. I need a new app to keep track of my sons games.

I was really hoping they would roll back the version of this app but since it is a free app it does not look like that will happen. More than likely they will choose not to develop it anymore.
I spoke with the developer of Ballers Stats and they are releasing a version we are familiar with and looking for. They do great with feedback and implementing changes. Should be out by Friday.
Maybe Scoutlit will push out an update to provide the option to convert to the old style.

It is more difficult to record stats, the player list uses valuable screen space. Instead of switching players in one move, now you have to sit one with a move and then use another move to bring the other player to the court. The clock and quarters disappeared. The stats by player and the shot stats on the court also are gone. In short, the update has made the app useless to record game and player statistics.
