When my device disconnects, it is often shows location unknown. This could make it so that I can't find my keys. Please fix. Also, I would like the option of seeing the actual GPS location.

I originally ordered a stickr trackr (competing brand) to attach to an expensive flash drive. The app didn't work at all and not only did I have all kinds of phone problems when it was installed, I completely lost the flash drive with trackr attached with no hope of recovery.
Then I ordered an Elgato Smart Key to attach to a new drive and it has performed flawlessly! Not only has it already helped me find the flash drive using the map and audible alarm, but it also makes my Pebble Smartwatch buzz when I leave it behind (make sure Elgato is enabled for Notification Center to make this work). I couldn't be happier!

My iPhone sends frequent connect/disconnect notification alerts when the device is only a few inches away. Sometimes I receive 20 alerts in a single day. Elgato tech support wrote, "When the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released, there were reports of Bluetooth issues (not just Elgato devices).” I don’t accept that because I use three other Bluetooth products without any issues. I have ios 8.1.3 installed. The ‘Find’ feature works reliably so it appears the iPhone and the Smart Key are not losing the connection.
