I got an Olight sphere. Coolest little light I have. But this app has been pretty glitchy since downloading it. I’ve had my sphere paired and it just disappeared multiple times. I’ve had to re “pair” it like 5 times just so I could control it again. Kinda annoying
One of the most annoying yet easily fixable things though? Developers if you’re listening: please change the sleep timer to hours and minutes! There’s no reason I should have to scroll all the way down to literally 120 (minutes) if I just want to set it to turn off two hours from now. It should be as simple as click down to “2” in an hours column and bam. Set. Please update that. Making your products easy to use makes people use them more. Which in turn makes you more money! Something to think about

This app has never worked properly and the response from the developer is ALWAYS “looks like you’re using an old version, update please” and then you update and it’s either not better or it’s worse. Almost literally everything is showing as out of stock (I counted 7 items TOTAL that were in stock… yes, only 7 different products are available to purchase according to this app) That doesn’t even factor in the fact that controlling your devices with this app is an absolute nightmare. You have to navigate passed sales pages (which don’t have any items in stock) and log-in screens just to get to the device controls only to find that the Bluetooth devices just straight up don’t work. You have to unpair and re-pair every single time you want to use the app.
UPDATE: still doesn’t work well and it’s been like 5 updates since my original review 🙄 my devices are “offline” most of the time and I’m constantly having to fight to get them to connect to my phone. The app is so janky it hurts.

This app has potential but right now lacks the ability to keep Ospheres connected. They have to be connected everyday or at least every other day. It is a little laggy and the controls don’t always work the way you want them to. The Ostrip controls are awesome and I like the ability to customize the Ostrip apart from the preset ones (which are pretty cool themselves). I like the ability to visit the store in app and have all of the store features easily accessible. Improve the Ospheres and you have a really good app. There may be room to expand as more products are added to the Olight lineup. I just got an update so we’ll see if the Osphere issue gets better.
