brand new release within last 24 hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Beautiful mix of their old and new formats. Just want to let the developers know that there are a few bugs still- with the hot air balloons in stage one (can’t view colors correctly to finish puzzle, some serious glitching happening there had to view walkthrough to get the sequence) and beginning of stage two with the locking mini-game by the door (had to skip to get prize even tho I successfully completed puzzle). That’s all I’ve played so far: again, posting this for the developers since I only speak English. For players reading this, don’t let this review discourage you as it hasn’t even been 24 hours since they released it and i am CERTAIN the developers will have these bugs fixed by the time you play. I’ll leave a new review once they have- bc THANK YOU JAMMSWORKS for making wonderful games that are neither too easy nor too hard. They are plenty of difficult escape games out there if that’s your cup of time- it isn’t mine. These are just right for me.

This is only the second time out of…42 games (wowsa!) that I’ve rated a Jammsworks game lower than 5, and it breaks my heart. There were some highs for me: lots of fresh interactive puzzles, cleverly used; the “eraser” is back on notes, helping to keep things tidy.👏🏼 And I was very excited about another exotic location. Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed these for me. First, the graphics seemed a bit muddy, and less defined than usual, so I wasn’t always sure what I was seeing. And the narrower letter-boxing really reduced the playing area from previous games. This made it tougher for me to know where to tap, and WHAT I could interact with. So I tapped A LOT, which felt frustrating after a while. The game crashed during play, losing notes and flow. As to flow, the integration and smooth transitions seemed off. Maybe this was due to lots of similar locations (the same doors here, there, everywhere), or maybe I just made it harder, longer, more of a slog for myself.😉 Not sure, but “Marrakech” just didn’t work for me. It happens. I remain convinced that Jammsworks is still the best developer of these escape games…period. One or two toughies out of dozens of great games doesn’t make a diff to me. P.S. A small thing, but I miss the “note swipe from right.” An older game used the top button method, so if we’re going back to this I’ll adapt, but…😢

I’ve played several Jammsworks games now, and I really liked this one a lot. It’s maybe in my Jammsworks Top 10. I especially loved the deep muted colors of Marrakech, and the late-afternoon golden-colored light, which matched the deep colors very well. It was easier than some in my Top 10, but still challenging enough and I had to use a couple of the hints to get through it, so it definitely wasn’t TOO easy. Jammsworks really does such a great balance between easy and difficult, making their games solvable, but challenging. Thanks for another great game, Jammsworks!!♥️
