I am a huge fan of Soul Ark and I was sad to see the old version shut down, so this is really exciting! So far the game has a lot of potential, it’s similar but different. I’m hoping future updates add more features and content, this could be something special if the devs keep improving it.

I was happy to see that this game was going to come back to life, but the utilization of teleportation within this game is a little disappointing. I have yet to even make it to a single “story” stage after expending several days worth of stamina. It also shouldn’t cost stamina to teleport, it should only cost stamina when you accept the match. Resources to level up characters and gear are scarce as someone else said. Summoning feels empty and is practically useless after a while. All this aside, the concept of this game is good, but this entire game feels like a separate game mode within a bigger game. This is what makes it feel really empty to me, as if it’s unfinished. If they would have made an actual game with a separate space for a story, pvp, and other game modes, like this, this game would be 100% better. I appreciate the work put in to revive this game and bring these characters back, but it would have been better if this game was an actual game and not a game mode.

Everything from the art to system design is quite fun and will only get better! The only thing I would suggest is balancing out the currency rewards. You need orange shards for upgrading heroes which comes plenty, but gold gets scarce fast. You need gold for upgrading, as well as equipment, which are both quite expensive and very difficult to farm, at least on my level. I wish there was an option to reset the levels of party members to invest in new ones so I don’t feel guilty upgrading a filler party member! I’d still recommend playing as it doesn’t require much of your time per day!
