This game has occupied more of my free time than I care to admit at this point. I was not familiar with any other work from the devs, so I went in this having no idea what to expect. It is super weird and disturbing in all the right ways. It provides enough of a challenge to keep you hooked, and it supplies the tools to succeed without dropping money on IAPs. That being said, I bought the ad free upgrade early on and it has been super helpful in progressing. So much so that it brings me to my only complaint.. Devs, when are we gonna get some new levels and sprouts? I'm on level 31 now and I haven't seen a new stage or sprout in a long time. Admittedly it's starting to get a little repetitive playing the same stages over and over, and without any new sprouts to look forward to. It's also been extremely hard to upgrade the specimens, as it takes hundreds of them to get even one upgrade, which takes a very long time when you're only collecting a couple at a time with the free worm every few hours. All that being said, this game is definitely worth the play and I really hope we get some new content soon!

I want to say first and foremost that I like this game a lot. I’ve been playing since it came out and have happily contributed money to the developers for making it. That said, there is one level “Apocalypse” that is so poorly designed, thought out and frustrating, that I’m considering no longer supporting the game. In a game that is designed around constructing complicated chains of Rube Goldberg-esque machines to maximize how much money you make, having a level that randomly destroys your babies to prevent you from doing so is an absolutely stupid design choice. And not only do they destroy your potential to make money, they take money away! Absolute madness. Other levels provide obstacles and different paths to force you to work around, but this level is simply random destruction and, unlike the other levels, they provide no means to counter it or even minimize it somehow. It would be scummy to make a player pay to somehow mitigate it, but they don’t even allow that; it is simply a bad design choice. This may seem like a minor gripe in the scheme of things, but I was really enjoying the game and happily supporting it before this absolutely frustrating level put a stop to any desire I had to keep going. I really hope they rethink how that level works, or else I fear many others will fell the same.

I downloaded this because it looked silly and fun, and because my nickname for my girlfriend is “goose” so I thought she might get a kick out of it. Day after I downloaded it we were in the ER because she broke both her feet and was on a bunch of pain meds when I showed it to her, which heightened her experience of this game even more. She has since also downloaded it and it is our weird little chaotic competitive thing we do together, which has been nice since she wasn’t able to work while both her feet healed. Our roommates have just given up asking what we are talking about when we yell into the void about how our babies got snatched by bees or crawling eggs with spider legs, and just go “goose?” as if they don’t already know. This game gives off the feeling that the devs were high on *something* when conceiving of every little aspect of this, and I mean that as a compliment. If you want a game that is absolutely bonkers off the wall crazy, while also being something that you can play in small spurts, this is your game.
