I like having a guide to places without having to kill another tree with a paper map. MBA's app was great with its full schedule (gotta see the Open Sea feeding in the morning!), dining guide, virtual postcards, and especially a map that tells you right where you are around the big facility. Really helped us navigate around throughout our day.

First off, I love the Monterey Bay Aquarium. They are at the forefront of a critical task: appreciate and SAVE our oceans (and ourselves). Thank you to everyone at MBA that work so hard. You guys rock. This app is an excellent overview and guide for perhaps a first visit. It clearly lays out the aquarium and integrates the programs with reminders well. Here are things that would make the app great. The biggest thing would be special alerts for unscheduled feedings. Did you know that you can sign up for 1-day only text messages on special feedings and other announcements? Usually, these are amazing treats that aren't regularly scheduled. It would be great for this app to have the same alerts. Also, some interactivity would be nice. Being able to upload photos would be great. Links to additional sources about exhibits like wikipedia would also enhance the experience for people wanting to learn more. Finally, mp3 audio tours in the app would be awesome.

How lucky - we looked to see if there was something like this today, and didn't realize it was only launched today! We used it all day. Love the reminders! Feedback: Please make them vibrate when your phone is on silent.
