LA tour that I downloaded is practically useless... there is no way you can actually drive along with the audio... unless you are driving a bus with a sign "tourist" and stopping in the middle of street is ok. In most cases you will approach the intersection without knowing which way to go, sometimes you need to guess and if you are wrong you are driving one way and recorded turgid another... also when it was advertised as GPS guided tour, I was under impression that software would take my actual location and either guid me with turn left/right to go to the sites or would give me the info about surrounding me place and make a suggestion were to go next...
I'm not going to buy any other tour for any other city... unless they will make it actually interactive (if I missed a turn or stuck in the traffic it will guid me back or slow down with the audio until I got back to the point where I should be listening it. That would be great app worth of much more.

I've downloaded the Paris audio guide. The full guide for 12 tours is $9, which I find very affordable considering a single tour at the Opera is 25 Euro. Before you purchase you're offered the option for a demo to make a choice in advance as to which tour suits your interests. Again, I took the entire group which range from step by step guides (I chose to listen to some in French) as well as tours that offer background and Information for each landmark. Thus far the Romance and Revolution is my favorite and I am absolutely certain the narrator for this tour is Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran - if that's a selling point! I'm very happy with the app and highly recommend.

I recently used this app for my trip to NYC. My favorite part was that I could download the maps and tours (including audio) to the phone and not worry about having cell phone reception while wandering the city. That is the most frustrating thing with these type of apps usually, but not with this. Simple and easy to use. They seem to update it often with new cities, which is nice for those that travel places often. The voice guided tour is also done very well and keeps you interested. Great all in one app!
