So, I download the Tabs app and am checking it out and so far so good. Songs look pretty decent and close to money. An advertisement pops up to get the Pro version for $9.99 I think well that's ok, support the artists and developers right, sounds good. Go through the hoops and get Tabs Pro and open it up. I click on one the of the older pieces and a box pops up in front of me to purchase a subscription of one plan or another. Hold the phone! There was no mention of that in the in-app advertisement, not one! As a matter of fact is says, "to unlock even more Tabs and features get the Pro version....." misleading from the beginning. I don't think people need to pay for an app just to spend more cash in the app, or they can't even view a tab that they could on the previous version. Blatant false advertisement by not letting people know they will need a subscription ON TOP of the price of the app. You make it look as though $9.99 is it. If you've over extended your finances or let monkeys manage your business, it's not the publics fault to bail you out. Maybe you've just become greedy(?) It's completely unfair to blind side them in this manner. I don't even need your app, I was simply curious as to what was out there and I find this(?) kinda pathetic if you ask me. My bank will refund me shortly and you can go about your merry little way.

I had the same problem as the previous review in that I had already purchased the full app and kept getting a pop up when I pulled up one of my tabs to play. Well it played in the background with the annoying pop up asking for more money.
Then I went over to my ‘Tabs & Chords app and there were my favorites just like in this app and I pulled up one of my tabs, and it played no problem. The interface is exactly the same.
So I don’t know why I can sign into this app and not do anything but it’s no big deal because the ‘Tabs and Chords’ app does the same thing for what I need...UG tabs and tabs that play visually. You can do the exact and thing as far as playing your favorites offline, choose different instruments, loop a section of the tab, etc.
Maybe I paid not knowing this was SaaS model. If so shame on me for not reading the fine print. I’m not sure and really don’t care because I paid 9.99 for ‘Tabs $ Chords’ and I can use it forever. Maybe this app has a bunch of extras that 99% of us don’t care about. As far as I can see this app is just taking up space on my iOS devices and needs to get deleted.
My suggestion, pay $10 for the other app, you’ll get what you want, and you’ll get it forever...no need to pay 3 times as much (with maybe more fees popping up for more bloatware) for this app...Just don’t see the justification.

The app is clean and "functional" without the ability to use the functions out of the box.
The app is useless unless you pay for a membership. Why allow us to download a free app if it doesn't work without paying. Just have us pay from the app store and their would be no problem.
News flash, you can look up the tabs for nearly anything on google without using your app. Your website used to be such a wonderful place to learn a song. Now you wont allow us to see certain information written by the author unless we use this app and your "pro" version is shoved down our throats like its the best thing since the telephone. You know, you could have just ran ads on your website if your that desperate for money. Why try and leave a bad taste in peoples mouths by literally forcing them to pay for your "pro" version. I guess the music really did die.
