Beat grading tracks and setting cube points works well enough so far. It’s very cumbersome however getting around the interface. When you are in two deck mode and go to great at it, you have no way to select which track you are trying to grid at it. Stuff like that is all throughout the application. You also cannot sync lossless or wave files from your computer app to this app. That to me is a big big drawback. It’s just seems like they can’t decide whether they want this to be a DJ app or a rekordbox application for analyzing files and being a standalone library.

Pioneer DJ is the only one that has this feature! This is not an app to “DJ” with... for that, download WeDJ. This app is for preparing your music on the go. For instance, I download 50 new tracks... sync those tracks to rekordbox mobile from the rekordbox desktop app wirelessly via WiFi. Take the tracks with me on the go. Listen, study, compare mixes, set tracks as good matches, adjust beat grids, set cue points and even adjust the My Tag data!! Once done working on the tracks, simply reconnect the mobile app with the desktop app via WiFi and choose “update collection”. Then all of the data is synced to your desktop app and ready to then be synced to your sd cards and flash drives! Plus, you can plug your phone directly into XDJs and CDJs and perform with the music you synced to the app. Nevermind the negative reviews saying this is not a good DJ app... those people don’t know what it is designed for. Don’t try to DJ gigs with this lol! It’s a tool to help rekordbox users work on their music collection while on the go. Serato and Traktor both don’t come close to offering this feature set. Game changer!

Good app. I like most everything about it but the most important aspect - wired functionality. You used to be able to plug your phone in and play tracks on the CDJ off your phone. Now it’s WiFi only. Horrible. Not every club has WiFi. This was my backup in case thumb drives were lost or stolen. Now I can’t use it. Why remove that function?! No reason!
