Good morning Streams …. my name is Judith Patterson Marzilli and I live in Flagstaff Arizona. I wish I knew words big and beautiful enough to express my love for this old book and now on the iPad. I am 76 years old and have loved this book since a child. My minister Father would read this daily and expound on it and would teach me the wonder of our precious Lord. I have often thought to meet the couple, even younger, behind it would be a great pearl. I did try to get the audio but must say the speaker did not enhance the book at all!
Like I said … my words are not big enough !

I wanted to get an app of Streams in the Desert because I didn’t want to get distracted or lost in my cluttered kindle & inbox. I also didn’t want a physical book because I commute and travel and don’t want to carry extra weight. This app is very simple and straightforward. It opens directly to the current day and doesn’t bother you with alerts, constant updates, pushes to share on social media, etc. It has some basic settings that can be changed and I think that is great. The focus is on making the reading experience streamlined. Thanks for providing this service.

I find the remainder to read Stream in the Dessert daily most helpful. That keep me to be diligent and discipline to read it everyday. The app is also helpful to open the right day of the piece that I should spend time with. The book is written in a diary, mainly quoted from the Bible, also introduced other segment of theology, combined with the testimony of the couples and spiritual life to extend deep interpretation for some verses in the Bible. It teaches people how to listen to God by reading the Bible and understand God's will.
Streams in the Desert, though with a strong religious flavor, but since the text is fluent and do not fall convention, it became one of best-sellers after the release in 1920, not only in the United States and was translated into dozens of language in the world.More specifically, the reader is not always a Christian.
